Winter skincare routine

I have been obsessed with products, tips, and tricks on getting flawless skin since I was a teenager. And now, many years later I feel like I have pretty good knowledge on how to get beautiful skin. I will do many blog posts about skincare and skin tips in the future. But for today I want to share with you my winter skincare routine.

Right now I only use the brand Kora Organics by Miranda Kerr. One of the best brands in my opinion.
The ingredients in the products are well thought about, natural and organic. Most of the products are cruelty-free and vegan as well, which is a huge factor for me.
I also believe that using one brand is better for your skin since they are intended to complement each other.

You can buy products from Kora Organics HERE.

Step 1:
I always start by removing any makeup that I have on my face. I use coconut oil and a damp bamboo cloth, I have found that it works best for my skin and removes all makeup very nicely. After that, my skin is already super smooth.

Step 2:
If I´ve had any makeup on, I always wash my face with the cream cleanser 2 times!
First I massage the cleanser gently into my face with my fingers and then rinse it off. After that, I use my Clarisonic with the cleanser to really get all the pores nice and clean. And if I went all make up free one day, I would just use my Clarisonic one time with a cleanser.
After cleansing my face my skin is all clean and feels baby soft.

Step 3:
Every second to the third day I usually exfoliate my skin, it depends on how I´m feeling that day. Causally I feel like the Clarisonic does a pretty good job with removing any dirt and oils from my face. But if I do, I will use the exfoliating cream which is a thin and gentle exfoliation that smooths my skin.

Step 4:
This step I only do once a week! And that is putting on a face mask.
Right now I am using a mud mask that gently purifies, detoxifying and replenishes the skin. I will do an own blog post about my favorite face mask in the near future.

Step 5:
When my face is fresh and clean I spray the energizing citrus mist all over my face to let dry.
If I feel my skin is dry I use the anti-age oil instead. I switch between those two products depending on how I feel my skin is that day. I usually just use the spray.

Step 6:
The final step is of course to moisturize. I use the hydrating day and night cream now in the winter, and it really does hydrate my face tremendously without getting oily or sticky. I am obsessed with that thing. A little goes a long way.

In the morning I just cleanse the face with my fingers and then spray the mist all over the face, followed by gently massaging my face with moisturizer.

So that is my complete skincare routine for the winter.
Tell me in the comments what your favorite skincare brand is and why you like it so much!

Mud masks are always so great! Also I found it interesting you washed with cream cleanser twice, usually I do an oil cleanser and then a cream. Thanks for sharing your routine 🙂

Um, I didn’t realize I was supposed to remove my make up before washing it… Now that I’m gluten free my face is acting completely different than “normal.” I also never thought about using one line for everything.
